Title: Call it what you will.....

I just purchased a couple of: Chinese Hillstream Loaches, or is it Stingray Pleco? Maybe Hong Kong Pleco? Borneo Sucker?! Possibly a Butterfly Loach?! Dang, I have come across confusion between an L species but this is rediculous. They're in Shdowelite's tank right now, but I hope she posts some pics up. I'm going to let her keep one and bring one home after it has calmed down.

Well, they have a heck of a lot more names. Commonly though they are called hillstream loaches.
The only reason there are so many is because when you get something so odd all over the world it's bound to get different names here and there. There are also so many different types of hillstreams, all just basicly color variants though.

They do better in groups and at cool temperatures - so you may want to reconsider splitting them up if you got just 2.
They like high oxygen levels and a strong current.
I'm planning to get some for my pond, so I've been reading up a lot on them.
They're not really a loach, by the way. But they're more like a loach than a pleco. ;) Around here we call them borneo suckers, but I end up calling them Hillstreams, anyway - due to the guys on here.
