I have goo eggs! I hope I can raise this batch :D
The eggs have been laid on the inside of a PVC pipe, and they are hanging on string-like things :P I've had the pair in there for almost 2 weeks, patience pays off :)

Oddball - February 15, 2006 06:33 PM (GMT)
dwarfs, what goby is that in your sig, i picked up one at the weekend that looks very very similar to it

Dwarfs - February 16, 2006 07:46 PM (GMT)
That's a Mogurnda clivicola (Flinder's range gudgeon) but you may have another species of mogurnda (Most likely Mogurnda mogurnda or M. adspersa) , because they all look fairly similar :)

BTW: I moved the eggs (all four of the remainders :( I hate fungus) and they have hatched, but due to gravel I can't see any  The male died too  He has been replaced with a more active male who will fan his future eggs and prevent this massacre from occuring once again :P

dtroup2 - February 16, 2006 08:31 PM (GMT)
:rip: Sorry to hear that, good luck in the future!

Sorry to hear some died. I hate it when my fish die or you get eggs and then they die. Good luck with the remaining ones.

Dwarfs - February 19, 2006 11:00 PM (GMT)
Well, the big male lives on. We found five of his fry in the tank I moved the PVC pipe to! jay

dtroup2 - February 19, 2006 11:14 PM (GMT)
