I love big dogs! :D

We used to have a great dane when I was a kid. My parents took her to a pasture were they kept their horses. She caught sight of a billy goat, and grabbed it. Full grown goat by the neck! My mom then dove for the dog, and grabbed on to her tail. This didn't even phase the dog she just kept running and drug my mom with! :laugh: The dog's name was thumper, we named her that because she would thump you really hard with her long bony tail. Needless to say after the incident my parents decided to give her to their friends. I loved that dog. It's not her fault that goat looked like it one of her chew toys! I don't think I'd ever own one though. I try not to keep animals that shit bigger than my head! :laugh:

I was on a farm once when an irish wolfhound came upto my window, he was pure black with green eyes and I shit myself!! the owner came along and said he was harmless whitch was true he was very gentle in nature even though he was used as a pig hunting dog

I wish I had a pic of Reb, he was 3/4 Rott 1/4 Saint Bernard. The first time I met him he decided I needed a hug, he put his front feet on my shoulders and rested his head on top of mine. He used to play with a 15pound bowling ball, he litterally picked it up and threw it across the yard!
A lot of the bigger dogs are just gentle giants, thank god because if Reb bit you he could have taken your head right off.

I would love to have a BIG dog but it is so hard to find a place to rent if you have anything that big. I almost didn't get my last appartment because of Dude, and he's only knee high and 80pounds,lol.
