Title: Ehiem 1000

I just bought an Ehiem 1000 to replace my HQB 3500 in my 5ft tank. I am SHOCKED. It is silent! It's incredible. I don't believe what I was suffering with my HQB. I'm incredibly impressed, and thought you all should know.

Ive always had Eheims, they are just the best filter you can buy full stop. You have to remember in life that you get what you pay for and in Eheims case they are a bit dearer but well worth the dosh. jay

good to hear leema, how do you like the flow you are getting from it?

Well, with the HQB 3500, I always had to have it turned down significantly as it was just too strong. I'm sure that wouldn't of been that good for the pump, over time. The Ehiem I've got on full bore and it works perfectly in equilibrium with the siphon to my trickle. :woo: So that's going to make things a whole lot easier!

The thing is that it keeps blowing out bubbles... ? :hmm:
