I was wanting your guys and gals opinion on a filter I am looking at. My 20 Gallon tank's filter is dying on me. For this reason I am looking at a new filter. I have come across the Hydor 350 Ekip Thermofilter and I was wondering if I could get some feedback on what you have heard. If you have any suggestions on any other types of filters that may be good your feedback would be appreciated. I am looking at having to replace the aerator at the same time due to the fact that I think it came over in the Ark.

sorry i haven't heard anything good or bad about them.:(

my first impression though is that the all in one stuff is usually a mediocre performer, relatively speaking.

No experience with that filter either.

What type of fish do you keep in your 20 gallon?

I've got one of these running in my 3ft tank (~50gallon) with a fluval.

I found that the aeration component was too much. It made my water look murky by putting in so much air.

I've had it for about a year, but the heater's died. The heater worked well up to that point, though - and the dial is very easy to use on it. The best heater for adjusting I've ever come across.

I love being able to do water changes without having to turn it off. :)

It's super easy to clean because of the water the front just snaps off. With my fluval, I have to get all the cord and everything out to get the filter out to clean it.

If there anything else you want to know, let me know. :)
I'd get one again, if I had some kind of warranty for the heater. (I got it off eBay, so.)

I have tigers barbs, albino barbs, and green barb in the tank. Thank Leema for the feedback on the Hydor 350 Ekip ThermoFilter.

It's not a very common one, unfortunately. I tried to find info on it when I bought mine, and couldn't - so I know your situation. :)
