Title: Combining albino and normal BNs

I currently have a pair of breeding normal BNs in a two footer, and a pair of albino BNs in a four footer. Unfortunately the four footer also contains some Empire Gudgeons, and I am worried that if the Albinos spawn (the young female is full of roe for the first time) the Empires will take the fry.
So, if I move the albino pair in with the normal pair, will they 'know the difference' and spawn with their prospective partners, or will the dominant (I would assume normal) male get all the action?

I had a look around...

The males will each choose a place and will entice whichever female in. However, if the normals have already bred before, they may be in sync and will probably be more inclined to choose one another. I don't think one male will become 'dominant' and more appealing to the females, as far as I understand. I think females just go "oh, I'm full of eggs - who can take me?".

How big is your 2ft tank?

The two foots are standard - 2 by 1 by 1.5, I think.
I think I am just gonna have to hope they lay in a flowerpot, or something movable, so I can give the eggs to the big common male to look after.
