Congrats on the new fish dude, there are great fish to keep with American cichlids because they are agressive like them. How much was he?

He was free .. I was actually getting ready to buy a jaguar cichlid when I came home to find this guy re-arranging my tank. My roomate's brother gave it to me because his jag was beating the hell out of this guy!

Very nice indeed...I have about a 15 to 16 inch butter in with all my Red Devils...he's not the baddest guy in the tank but he is a beauty....you'll really enjoy him...and, it's lucky for your brother's Jag cuz when this guy grows up he'd hurt that Jag....I have one particular red devil that I believe has a genetic disorder....he's insanely vicious....out grew all of the rest of my others..is about 15 inches now....when he and my butter were together and growing...the butter would harass the hell out of him....as you can see by the first photo...but....then the Red Devil grew up a bunch more.....got terribly mean....and I had to seperate them...actually had to seperate the red from everything else.....but, I love my Butter....!!!
