Im wanting to know what stage is it up to when the dirt has pegs in it for the tar to be layed down, it seems as though they pegged out the road right but what stage is this? all the drains etc etc are in so does this mean now they just have to flatten out the dirt and start laying the tar down? and then thats done its just a matter of time before houses go up dont they.

could be that the stakes are there as reference points for them to get the grade of the road the way they want it, so it will shed water and not puddle when it rains. this is just a guess though.or they could just be there to map out the path the road will take. sorry wish i could give you a better answer, those are my guesses as what they are for, i could be way off though.

do they already have the house foundations in?if not they will probably have survey teams out there to determine the position and grade of each lot then they'll pour foundations, and then they'll start building.

all i know about road works is the people doing it take to long... *to be finished in 6 months* year and a half later they are stilll goin sheesh
