How old are they now? If you can hold them then I'd guess they are weaned or close to it?
PS my gf likes the black one, becareful she might try to steal it. ;)

^^ she made a topic not to long ago about saying her guinea pig was pregnant...so they must be new borns.
Cute little guys =D Congrats!!

They were born last night between 8:40 and 9:00. Every thing I have read says you can handle right after they are born to get them used to ppl. My kids love them already. My mom and sister was wanting one but she only had two so the kids arent going to let them go. The little brown and white one has pink eyes and my son has already named the black and white one Johnson (he doesnt care if it is male or female). They are already squeaking and making noises. It amazed me because I am used to hamsters and cats and stuff being so old before their eyes are open.

It is encouraged to hold them right away. They will start to show their personalities very soon. One of my daughters had red eyes.

I found out yesterday that my husband had been bragging about the guinea pig babies at work. Funny, I always thought he didnt like the other ones. But with these I caught him sitting at the cage petting them. To think he thinks I am crazy for doing it. Go figure.

My kids have finally named our little pigs. The black and white one is Johnson and the brown and white one is nibbles because it nibbles on everything. Everyone is wanting them but the kids and I have decided to keep them. Just cant resist the little things.

Careful, you could be overrun in no time!! :lmao:
That's how my obsession began and if it wasn't for my husband I'd probably have a dozen of the damn things! but hubby says I can only have 1 :pft:
We had 4 at one time but had to find homes for the babies.

They are so cute!!!
I had one when I was a tiny girl.
I like rats better.
But the more I see the piggies the cuter they are.

I let the mom out today to play and you should have seen her and the babies running. She was jumping and twisting and having a blast. I will post more pictures of them in day or two. They are sure growing and they are already drinking out of a water bottle.

just think if you become overrun with the pigs you can fry them up and put 'em on a stick and eat them Kabob style
