Description: using Powerhead

This has been on my mind for ages, I finally got it up and running a few weeks ago then I had flat batteries in the digi cam. Anyway finally got them charged and here are some pics.

Firstly I got a 20ltr tub and some old seedling trays to hold the media etc. bit of pvc piping and some 19mm retic pipe which fitted perfectly onto the PH. PH is a 2000ltr p/h elcheapo which does the job fine.

This is a view of the inside of the tub, I have ceramic rings in the bottom tray (submerged), combination of ceramic rings and bi balls in second tray and filter stuff on top. Considering putting charcoal on the bottom of the top tray as well. I have a spare tray so when changing I simply remove top tray and replace with fresh tray.
