I love those eels, I used to have 1, actually i have had two overrall but the first one got out of my tank when i was younger and my friend was sleeping over, eel ended up on the floor and dried up right next to my friend's head. Pissed me off but was kinda funny seeing my friend in the morning. :lol: Hope he works out for you, i wouldn't trust anything from walmart. Make sure to get him some brine shrimp and/or bloodworms, they love that stuff.

He hasn't started eating yet which kinda worries me. I tried live blackworms and he refused him. I wonder what the people at Wal-Mart fed him (if they even fed him in the first place). Tomorrow I'm going to stop by the LFS and pic up small portions of brine shrimp and bloodworms.

as well as the bloodworms and brine shrimp, also try mysis shrimp.

Don't expect it to start eating normally, I have to feed mine earthworms because it won't touch anything else. I've had it for almost 6 months now!
