Title: Loaches and snails

I have read that loaches will eat snails, is it possible for Clown and Khuli loaches to eat large snails? I was thinking of getting some Ramshorn or Apple snails and am wondering if they could live in the big tank or would they have to be in the sump?

Kuhliis eat little baby snails. Clown loaches eat everything.

People seem to have differing experiences with kuhliis... Mine made no dent in the snail population. Others say they're terrific.

My clown loaches don't eat big ramshorns...

I've found my Kuhlis to attack and eat small pond snails though I've only see it once and there are very few snail shells in the tank compared to the number of living so I don't think they are voracious like Clowns about it.
