Yup Lauren had her wisdom teeth yanked today, and also found out that i'm immune to the nitrous gas...
i had a body buzz and then POOF it was gone ... and the nurse was like can you feel this well yeah... the needle was huge... course i could.... she cranked the gas on more and waited about 15 minutes and shes like.. Lauuuureennnnnn are you flying yet?
Im like nope.... this bird is stayin in the nest... and then my IV sedation drip kicked in and i wa sgone...
annnnddddddddd I woke up in my bed passed out with my face stuffed full of gauze...

Been there, done that! I wasn't immune to the gas though. They gave me the IV stuff and the gas at the same time, told me to count backwards from 10 , I got to niii, and woke up with what felt like 6 feet of gause hanging out of my mouth. :laugh:
I can feel your pain girl! Hopefully they gave you some good pain pills for later.

I understand that, due to a mistake when I was 3 I don't enjoy the effects of morphine and many other poppy derived legal narcotics.

Im actually great this morning... almost been 24 hours and I don't look like a chipmunk.. i have slightly puffy cheeks.. but nothing too crazy...
im not embarassed to go sell video games tonight looking like this

Good for you! I was in bed for 2 days after mine were removed and I only had the bottom ones done(top never formed). I guess I'm just a wimp. :laugh:

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled at the same time and never took but one pill for it and it made sick at my stomach. Yuck. I told hubby I could live with the pain better than having a feeling of throwing up all the time. :lol:

perdy damn good id have to say....
Though i slowed down the healing of my arteries by going to work the day after i got them taken out... stupid me... but Im restless... i gotta do something....
Ive been eating more solid foods now... so I'm one step better to NOT having holes in my mouth lol
