For the peacock shots yes...Just the tank lighting on the Altolamps/cyps...
I'm still wanting a remote system though...but that's a ways away...I haven't even looked yet to figure out if my camera will be compatible with a remote system.

Look into a slave kit CD. Maybe even a strobe based I think it's called, the type that reacts to the on camera kit rather than the shoe plug variety.
Great pics btw.
What is the color temp of your lights?

Awesome pics and fish, Seedy.

The Eureka shots are with the flash and a "vita-light" like they use for reptiles...
The Red top was lit with the flash and 50/50 actinic/compact flourescent ...

Sweet, might give a PS project when I am bored. ;) I was thinking of playing with equalizing as close to true sunlight as I can by filtering based on light. I have some of my own shots with different light temps and needed more.

Try using the macro setting on your camera for best results. the symbol on your camera might be a little flower to let you know it is on.

Old thread and if I recall Seedy does not need the macro setting. Depends on the camera.
