Hey guys, haven't been on here for a long time xD haha well I usually come by some times... anyways heres my poem. Please keep the comments good with advice if needed, no need for bull


I told my mom I was in Love
She said "In love with who?"
I said "I'm in love with ___"
And that person is you
I told her I liked her as a friend
But that's not really the truth
I love her more then any little boy should
But no need for proof
Mom said "Speak the truth"
I said "I'm afraid"
"Afraid of what"
"I'm afraid she might reject me
and toss me off the pave"
But Mom said "In life you take chances.
In dreams you take risks,
So it's either just a fairy tale
Or a real life kiss"
I told her "I'll take my chance
and tell her tomorrow, hopefully
she won't reject me and bring me sorrow"
The next day at school
I walked up and hesistated
She asked "What's wrong, why are you so crated"
I said "Nothing really,
but the truth is... my birthday
is coming up, and I want you to hear me"
"I'm listening to the words you say,No
matter what the others say"
"Then listen carefully, and here's what I'll stray"
"I don't really want much for my birthday,
except 3 words from you, but I don't want lies
I want to know the truth.
"The fact in life is that I'm in love with you,
I know I said we're just friends, but I lied out of
hesitation"
She replied with a "I think you need to sit down and listen,
I think we're better off as friends, and that's the truth"
So I continued my life as a 8th grader at skoo'
Hopefully she comes to me the next day
And changes her mind
I hope one day my dreams come true
Because without that mirical
I can't compete with her kind
I guess life has it's meanings
And it's not meant to be
But I still wonder
Did she really speak the truth
Or did she really love me?
I guess what I wanted for my birthday won't come true
Because without those 3 words
My birthday is screwed

Hey...I write poetry too...but never gotten much response on the fish boards....good job though...
