I wouldn't be surprised if it is. They used to mine huge blocks of sandstone for building buildings and other stuff and I'm sure that some of the workers didn't survive, and there is a mean set of rapids about a mile north that takes a life about every other year. It is an awesomn place to walk around and just check out the natural world. From what I understand I can catch a trail that goes along the river about a mile from my house and follow it for over 20 miles.
