What kind of dog is he? He kinda looks like a german shepherd.

dtroup2 - March 18, 2006 05:43 PM (GMT)
He's 1/2 German Shepard and 1/2 Chow.

Here is a couple pics of him pouting because I was taking pics of Patches and not him. He is such a camera hog.

Yeah he is, a few years ago when he was in his prime he weighed 60 pounds, now that he's gotten fat and lazy he is up to about 80 pounds.

Sounds like my dog :P She weighs around 70 pounds, but she isn't very big

Very cool dog

:thanks: His back is only a little over knee high on me but he is a powerful, bulky boy. He is a full sized dog on short legs.
At just under a year old he snapped a 1/4in plastic coated tie out cable because someone was trying to steal my bike, I don't know if he got whoever it was but they didn't get my bike.
He is also known for pulling out those corkscrew tie out stakes, dragging my 1 X 2 X 4 ft planter box down the road (full of dirt and tomatoe plants), and pulling one of the 4X4 support pillars of my mom's front porch out.
I have spent more on chains, clips, hooks and instant links for him than I have on vet bills and food. He now has a medium weight tow chain and 3 inch climbers clips to hold him.
It's a good thing we have him very well trained!
He won't even chase squirrles because Momma said NO.

you put the emotions after and phrase it like some other fish keeper, she has a dog much like you.

very cool looking dog, is he protective of you? or is he like my moms dog, and runs up to every one and wants to be patted on the head??

have a good one, i love the pics!

He wants to be friends with almost everyone but if nobody is home he will defend his territory, and all it usually takes is a few barks, he has a deep barritone voice that gets your attention, he sounds almost like a rot or st bernard.
