When my shark was alive (god I miss it :( ) did it attack everything else in the tank? mine couldnt live with anything at all and was very edgy around fish, what do you guys keep with them and are there any fights between them?

Yeah I had the same prob with my black shark, he was ok till he got to about 6" then took over the tank :banghead: , he had to go. Traded him for a couple Oscars

All of my shark have attacked fish at one time or another. My black shark chases stuff a lot but doesn't cause any significant problems. The boga chased things a bit unless they were a lot smaller than him. He was in one of my community tanks for a while and never tried to chase anything. all the rest seem pretty aggressive towards other "shark" like fishes. The giant danios I am using as dithers in the albino, parvus, coubie tank are completely ignored which is unfortunately not what I was hoping. I was hoping they would chase the danios around and leave each other alone but that hasn't worked.

All sharks (labeo's) will attack other fish even down to the humble Rainbow shark, finding a shark that will not fight just aint gonna happen it just depends on the individual fish's personality imo like Cichlas said.it looks like vip got a major over aggressive shark and ive heard reports of others like that that need to be kept alone.

My Black shark has killed fish before mainly other sharks and cichlids (which i have found in my black sharks case he hates) my sharks aggression max'd out at about 15/16in but has calmed down a bit now but still try's to ram fish against the glass, his favourite form of attack lol.

In most cases i think its just choosing the sharks tankmates wisely.
