I have planted onions, lettuce, banana peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, beans, corn, and cabbage. Thank god I had corn seed from last year because it went up to $10 a pound this year. Thinking I am gonna have to dry me some this year to plant for next year. I still have my cucumbers to plant though but the worst is over. Anyone else got theirs done yet?
i have!! but i have had mine done for about 2 months so far. and they were all ready potted from seed we collected from last years garden.
so, i'm all good for now. my mom just wants tp plant some sunflowers today...... :banghead: i have to dig 100 ft of rock hard ground today lol, but, i have been working at it for a while now, so, i'm not complaning,
haha have a good one,
Tyler
Mine isn't started yet but I just got the tiller out of the shop the other day, it's still a little early for my garden to go in yet, I heard on the radio that we could get snow this weekend. :pft: If we do it shouldn't last long.*knocks wood*
Well, I got mine a little over 1/2 done.
I have done dill, basil, parsley, 4 kinds of lettuce, zucchini, accorn squash, carrots, beets, turnips, raddishes, pea pods, yellow and green beans, eggplant, bell and anaheim peppers, cabbage, and broccoli.
I still have to plant 4-5 kinds of tomatoes, 3 kinds of cukes, watermellon, and cantaloupe.
I'm trying to figure out where to put the cukes and mellons so that they don't cross polinate. One year I had my cukes too close to the cantaloupes and ended up with the worst tasting cuke-a-loupes you could imagine :green:
I had 6 vines of crap that my friends goats and sheep wouldn't even eat, even the wildlife wouldn't touch them.
