I need to know on the bio tower for my sump, how much of the bio material needs to be out of the water.
I ended up with 2 10gal tanks and am wondering if I can get away with a 10gal sump with an external wet/dry bio tower that has a hose going to the 10gal.
That way I can set up the other 10 gal for fish! :laugh:

I would think 50/50 if possible. I have a link around somewhere that I'll share when I find it.
