OMG!!!! i am drooling over the new halo!!!! wow, i have been a fan even sense the first one, WOW what a cool looking game!!! i have to go out and but a damn xbox 360 now....but who cares as long as i get to play the coolest FPS EVER made for a gaming system!! (closly fallowed be half life 2) but, OMG i can't wait till 2007!!!! shadow, do you know when he suspected date s for the relese???

Blasphemy, HL-2 was made for the PC and ported to the console and honestly it looks horrible on the console. Another honest thing aside from RED vs Blue I don't understand the excitement over Halo.

There is no set date yet for Halo 3.. it is still being made in some parts...

As for HL-2, creators RUIN good games by throwing them on consoles or vice-versa...

And a note of advice for those of you who are SONY devotees:

the new PS3 isn't all it's going to be cut out to be. It is equipped with this "blue-laser" technology built into it which allows for games and DVD's to be played and viewed on high-definition imagery. This little piece of technology adds 300+ buck-a-roos to the price tag, and when it hits shelves it will be over $649 (AM or CAD.. Can't remember). Not too mention there will only be 20 million consoles made for the WORLD WIDE.... not just Canada.... WORLD WIDE... launch.
So with this blue-laser crap to give you decent imagery, microsofts 360 is already equipped with the high-definition quality and at less that the PS3 price... I'd go for the 360

And one more thing for the new NINTENDO console:

they have apparently changed the name to the Nintendo "WE". And after E3 it isn't all it's cut out to be. The graphics are just a little better quality than the GameCube and EVERY SINGLE GAME is adjusted to the gyro in the controller, meaning there isn't going to be an option to play the "WE" games normally instead of moving the controller around to hack and slash enemies, or to race cars. Come on.. who wants to play Twilight Princess while looking like youre having a panic attack???? If my friend uploads the video, he has a 10 minute clip he flimed at E3 of the MAKERS of the "WE" trying to play tennis and cannot hit the ball ;) and they apparently tried for over 45 minutes to win ;)

oh and not too mention.. the new Super Mario Bros. coming out for the DS ;) WHO HAS A COPY ALREADY!!!

I DO :P MUAHAHAHHAHAHA My good friend went to E3 and brought back a demo pack for Zelda: Twilight Princess and a few other DS games.. AND a full unreleased copy of the Super Mario Bros. Game!!!

Nintendo Wii should be $200 ish

The PS3 contains a Blue ray drive it' one of the ways Sony plans on winning the next generation format wars, ie Blue ray disks vs hd dvd or sony vs toshiba.

and personaly i like the PSP better than the DS, and i was a devoted fan of the advanced, and SP though i never wanted to trade in my advanced because i put some mods in it :whistle: ....LOL but, any way, great information. thanks for sharing that with us.

My friend and I both work at EB Games.. a video game store in canada.. and i think its called GAMESPOT in the states (but im sure they have an EB down there as well) he got the Media credentials approved to go film there... he is getting me in next year.. hopefully.. then i get get all the swag *drools*

I have my trusty PC, the console programmers are what really hurt the consoles for me. I have yet to be immpressed with any next gen consols graphics, if I were to buy one it will be the Wii.

our Nintendo Rep came in today and told us that he is about 90% sure that the price on the Wii is going to be around 299 CAD

I dont mind my xbox (the regular one) i had it modded way back when so I haven't had to purchase an xbox game in YEARS.. i get my friend to download them t hrough a torrent site and then burn them to a dvd disc for me and VOILA!!! I have free games...

I played Halo 1 and 2 on the Xbox at a fishin weekend with mates. I got bored, LOL> :pft: I dont see what the hypes about? There is heaps of games out there where aliens invade earth etc etc.

Come on peeps, tell me what the secret to the game is?

to me at least, it is the fact that it has levels that are actually inovative, not some thing you would see in startreck, or starwars, and the way the graphics looked, (did you ever once look at the grass in halo 1? it looked like real grass! (but nothing like that in halo 2, too bad, i really like the open battle feilds.)

but, over all, it is just how the game feels, it seems to flow togather, the story line is really cool as well, that is a plus. LOL

is there somit i didn't cover?

i haven't.......i didn't see the need to play it on the comp. (if you were talking to me that is.

HL-2 is so interactive and Doom3's shadows are wicked, pretty freaky stuff to play aloe in a dark room lol.
