They and my plants are now in one of the 10gal tanks. I got some dirty gravel from a friend and got a "filter swish" when I got the Kuhlis to help finish seeding the sponge filter.

My water stats are
nitrate 0 down from 20
nitrite 0 down from 1.0
gh 75
kh 80
ph 7.2

Congrats with 3 little Kuhli's.
Aren't they the coolest looking fish :drunk:
They are also great to clean left over food especially where the other fish cant reach..the Kuhli's will not have that problem.
Be careful with the intake..they are known to get into the most impossible places :brows:

Nifty! Kuhlis are fun little fish!...just make sure they are eating...you may hav eto coax them with frozen foods at first.

dtroup2 - May 18, 2006 12:23 AM (GMT)
I went back to get more kuhlis but there was only one in the tank :( so I got him and I let hubby talk me into getting a SAE.

Here are some really crappy pics of them in the bag.

  The hoaxes are eating flake food and nibbling on plant bulbs :lmao: :lmao:

I decided to transfer 3 of the Kuhlis to the 55 gal. I figured that I better take pics of them before I released them because I may never see them again. :lmao:

So here are more "alien" pictures!

Glad to hear you finnally got your kuhlis Dorothy! Very cooll little fish

How are they doing so far? I have heard that they can be difficult upon first arrival to get acclimated and eating...

dtroup2 - May 24, 2006 06:14 AM (GMT)
They are doing good, eating flake food and nibbling on plant bulbs.
I put 3 of them into the 55 and left the last one in the 10 with the CAE.
I imagine that they are not happy at the moment, the 55 has been without light since last night, it's being remodled.
I was surprised that they are not interested in dried red worms (skeeter larve) :hmm: :dunno:
