I let my hubby talk me into getting a SAE, at least that's what it was labeled.
I'm not so sure now that that's what I got because the pics on the net don't look like my fish.
The pics on the net have them being silver with a black stripe down the length. Mine has black spots where the stripe should be and black spots down his spine. It has the downturned mouth and has attached to the glass a couple of times, he also likes to nibble on the sponge filter and plant bulbs.

I'll try to get a pic of him.

Not true algae eaters and can be aggressive...I'd take em' back if they aren't needed...
