My Synodontis decours love to live in the same hole, not fight over it but share it. I dont know much about cat fish, but from what i understand This catfish type are normaly loners, only together for the spawning seasons and they dont breed in tanks, just lakes or ponds. I have given them pleanty of caves and hidy-holes to avoid the wrath of big bad daddy calvus, but yet they insist on living in the same damn hole so my question to you all is...
Is it possible i may have a male and female, and should i invest in a large tub or well supported yard tub to let them breed, which is very difficult to get them to spawn, or just leave them be and reamain curious by their odd behavior?
This link tells how to sex them
linkbeyond that I'm afraid I can't be of much help.
Good to see you back!
I'm too afraid to do that to any of my babies, yes my fish are like children to me. but it does give me an option to decide upon before investing such a large amount of money on a breeding facility for them.
I'm glad to be back, school was really not leaving me time to do much, so till august i hope to be around a lot more.

I can remember those days, if you aren't in class your nose is in a book, or you are on the computer doing papers.
