Title: a gourami.... acting up.

FBG - May 24, 2006 11:33 PM (GMT)
well, today i noticed my dwarf flame gourami laying on the bottom of the aquarium, on his side, still moving, but not swimming, no eratic breathing, calm, and nothing seems to be wrong, i just did a water change fearing that the water stats may be bad, all the other fish are doing great. (knock on wood) it is a 40 gallon, tank, heavely planted, i don't have any of the water stats, yet, i will have them tomorrow. if he is still alive that is.

is there any thing else i need to add? i also have a picture, but it didn't come out very well......you just see a red dot, on the gravel.

thanks in advanced,
Tyler

Could be a swim bladder problem... :dunno:

what should i do to fix it, or can I?

Try to do a large water change and keep him close to the surface...he can probably fix it himself. :)
