ok, i am just wondering, but, do you have to have salt with plattys? some one told me you had to have salt in the aquarium in order for them to live, i know you don't have to, because i have had mine for about 5 months w/o salt, but i was just wondering if that is correct that i have to have salt in order for them to propperaly live.

I've checked about a dozen different sources and not found anything about salt, so I wouldn't worry about it.
