Title: Not a happy post but... my dogs dying
wooly526 - June 1, 2006 01:54 PM (GMT)
Ive known for the last few weeks something was wrong with my 15 year old foxie but after taking her to the vets today and finding out she has a brain tumour and about 2 or 3 weeks to live i almost started balling my eyes in the vets.
Ive had her since i was 6 years old, i cant even remember life without her. It is really sad but i know she is old and has lived a good life ( spoilt so much ) but at the moment its still hard to take in and except.
I know most of u guys have cats or dogs so im sure u understand the feelings i have at the moment. Twas a very sad day today :sook:

Awe Wooly :(
I know what it's like to lose a pet to death, or find out something is wrong with him/her
Chin up hunny, its the fact that you gave her an amazing life and she probably knows it. 15 is old for a puppy :( and it's her time to go. She will come back to you somehow, trust me :)
Be happy, we are all here fo ryou :)

 Sorry to hear that. Its rough to loose a pet. I had my pet ferret for 7 years when she died and it was like losing a family member. It is really rough but you have to think that you gave her a good life while she's alive and you will always have good memories of her when she is gone. So like vTec said "Chin up".

 just keep in mind that Foxy lived a happy spoiled life and she will pass away knowing that you loved her and gave her your all. Dont see this as a good bye see it as a see you later..Burry her in your back yard, thats what i did with all my animals that passed away it gives you a sense that they are still with you. You spoiled her and gaver her all your love and attention and age is unstoppable. I know all i said is hard to accept as i have been through it numberous times.Spend as much time as you can with her

Sorry to hear that Wooly. I know its of little comfort but she is no longer in pain. I'm sure you have lots of wonderful memories of growing up together.
You already know, but many of us have been through the same thing and its tough.
