hello,
my uncle is building me a custom tank stand for my 75 gallon tank...
is there anyway i can test, or tell if its sturdy enough to hold the tank before i put my tank on it? what is the key to it holding up? it seems pretty sturdy,

Here is how I did mine dtroup's 55 gal

The actual stand evolved a little between design and finished product but I gave exact dimentions in the write-up with pics.
This can at least give you an idea.
