if by bi-turbo they mean the stock twins that doesnt supprise me...on a 2jz you're limited to about 240 - 260rwkw's (considering its an american supra they had steel turbines so can pump a little more out but not much more) and that little thing prolly had some single "f*** off" turbo under the hood (T04Z, T88, T51R or the like) and it likely weighs a 1/3 of what the supe and porshe do. I know of toyota tercels like that, good sleepers with the good power:weight ratio.

good to see the supra decimating the porshe though :)

Couldnt see it having a T88H-34D or the HKS T51R, those things have super lag on them! By the time it spooled up the porche would of left it. My mate has a T66 on his VL running mid 9's and even that has abit of trouble getting the pounds up.

4000 rpm my friends 800hp supra spools up with a T51R and his cams can rev out alot higher then stock so hitting top end too quick isnt an issue (white abflug supra in several tuner mags including speed) and the T88 in the tercel spools up by 4500 and they were on a rolling start anyhoo. Lags only really a problem off the line, i tend to think of it as a courteous head start :D

There are some good spool assists out there to reduce lag, and racelogic traction control has an anti-lag setup on it for turbo spooling off the line keeping traction (takes a bit to setup right though).
