Simpsons, without them their would have never been futurama, south park, king of the hill and so on and so forth. The Simpsons are the pioneers of prime time cartoon sitcoms. I will say though I love futurama also. Not a big fan of the family guy. King Of The Hill rules. Gotta give it up for southpark also. Remember the Thunder Cats? If so give it up for the Cats! G.i. Joe is the man, and Transformers are always down to blow some shit up!

ok, i would have to say, for anime, because that is what the last post was about, i would deffnitly go for Blue Gender, it is an awesome show......it use to be on adult swim on cartoon network. but Futurama wins this, unless you are talking bauot the older simpsons, that ruled :D but i also like family guy.....

while on the topic of prime time T.V shows...ever watch, How I Met Your Mother??? i absolutly LOVE that show......5 * out of 5 *! :D

I think Futurama is ok but I like The Simpsons better. In NM it aired for the first time on April 19, 1987, the day my daughter was born.

I don't like Southpark at all. Personally I think cartoons should be child frendly.

Futurama!!! Way better story lines and the characters arnt all yellow!! :laugh: and alot more interesting.

The simpsons used to rock but these new ones suck big time, they should go back to there old scripts.

I do agree with you there. I haven't watched the simpsons on tv for at least 3 years. I don't like to watch simpsons, futurama, king of the hill, or southpark. Just because I buy them all on dvd. Good for two reasons, one- no commercials, two- It's like watching all new episodes.

The simpsons most definitly, i like futurama, but simpsons was more intelegent and a better satire.

Although i really wish they would bring back futurama as well, like they did family guy.

What shits me about Simpson is that you get all these oldies and politicians complaining about violence etc on tv where as many times have i seen Guns, explosions and all sorts of violence be shown in the Simpson’s. I say whats good for one is good for all!

I like both but Futurama is better IMO. I'm glad it's finally coming back on television with new episodes.

Damian [Vip] buys a Futurama DVD once a week when we go grocery shopping, they sell them at coles for $10.

Old simpsons is best but futurama beats new simpsons. I personally like cartoons being aimed at my age group.;)

I've got nothing against Futurama, I just am not that into the cartoon shows anymore.
I would rather watch Discovery Channel or some of the other channels that I can actually learn somthing on, if I want somthing just for fun I watch wrestling 2-3 times a week and I sit through Hubby's Sci-Fi shows, I even pay attention occasionally. :laugh:

Maybe southpark season one and two holds a candle to older simpsons, but it's tough to beat the social comentary.
