Title: what to feed my new worlds?

HI MY NAME IS J.D. STEWART AND I'M A NEW MEMBER TO TFC I'VE HAD MY FISH TANK FOR ABOUT THREE MONTHS AND I REALLY NEED SOME ADVICE ON WHAT TO FEED MY NEW WORLD CICHLIDS ANY HELP WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED

hey there J.D. welcome to TFC. i split your post and gave you your own thread in the new world forum. you'll most likely get a better response to your question here. i feed my NW cichlids a wide variety of foods. what kind of fish do you keep? a good quality pellet is a good idea for a staple food. treats can include shrimp, crickets, bloodworms,etc.

My moneys on feed them livebearers, set up a 10 gallon breeding tank, and a 5 gallon, or 2 tanks for fry, use platies though,

A good ballanced pellet may be in order. The ocassionall live treat to remind them that they are predators does not hurt just watch out for feeders as they are typically weaker health wise.
