Its called Pykes Creek (kinda creepy name isnt it?) We took Sires as well and he had a ball of a time, we had the whole place to ourselfs.
In one way it was really sad as it showed just how bad the water shortage here is, you can see in one of the pics where the island is that the water used to be near the top where the trees are.

wow, too bad the water isn't replenishing it's se;f as it was ment to do, when was the last time there was snow/rain more than a few inches?

we are on the other hand are getting a lot of rain....like 7 inches in the past two weeks at my house, though, we don't have any natural water lakes/streams....sadly enough, the mine has taken out the ONLY river (only running/standing water in tucson, that was running constantly) about 100 years ago, and they poluted (spelling?) all most 1000 peoples wells from tailings, nice way to repay the workrs that they under paied isn't it??

Australia's water levels are right down, we are all on high water restrictions here. I didnt know it was that bad untill I went, kinda made you depressed.

Trout, red fin and a couple of others. I would like to know more about what fish are in there as well so I will ask next time im up there.
