nice fish and they seem to be very healthy from what i can see, Judging by what i can see, if you breed two more times, using the spawn, then you might have steady colors, like pure green, pure blue etc. I wish I could spawn my bettas already. I have to breed my veil with a female, to get definite veils, then im gonna breed a female veil w\ double tail male, make some nice DTVTs

Veil genes are donimate over ALL tail types. If you breed a VT to a DT or anything else...you just get ALL VTs. That's why breeding VTs is very unpopular.

true, but their have been some cases that say otherwise, i've even seen veils with double tail feature, and my male veil has some crowntail genes in him though it takes a long time to make them,like start with 1 DT male, and 1 vt female, keep breeding dt males with females from those spawns and eventually you get some very nice dtvts, but its very hard to do

VT XDT if VT do not have DT geno F1 should be all VT.Then cross brother and sister of F1 you wil get DT back and should have characteristic of VT .
