not completly finnished either, i still need to trim the edges, and wire a few more edges on, but, other than that, i think it looks pretty good. :drunk:

Looks pretty nice! You're lucky you can dig holes in the ground and fill them with water...my parents would EAT me.

...what the hell is that huge freaky plant in the 5th pic?

I think it's coming along very nice. Once you get all the rock put in, and get more vegitation around it. It will look 100x better. Good work though. Wish I had a backyard to make myself a pond. Stupid condo! Look forward to seeing the finished product.

Good call on putting up shade for your pond. I bet the AZ sun can really get that sucker cookin. I would look into getting a uv steralizer. Then the water would be clear instead of algae green. I think you can get one from petco or petsmart for $120 or so. Home depot has them also I believe.

at my LFS they sell them for $120.00 or so, and it is for 700 GPH, and that includes the pump.

btw shadow,

that is an agave cactus, in about 10 or so years, that sucker will have a huge flower stalk about 4 or 5 inches thick, and i think about 10-20 feet tall. it is an awesome plant lol.

thank you for the kind words, i have also been trying many different things to get it to look nice, and, personally, i think this is a good result. (just my point of view)

cheers,

Tyler

Sweet stream Tyler!
Shadow did you know that the agave plant is what they make Tequila out of?
