well, i got out my telescope, and took pictures on the harvest moon.




notice the craters, and how it looks like it splattered hundreds of miles in either direction.


i hope you like them, i think it could possibly be the best pictures i have takes from the telescope. :lol:
this telescope was personaly put togather by one of the best austrologers in the state, i'll get his name again if i can read the writing. (i can't read any ones signiture....)

How do you have the camera rigged up to it and what camera is it?

:laugh: i just used the viewing port, and, i am using an outdated C330 i think, it's a kodak 4.0 megapixel. but, it has alot of different settings.

My grandfather did that with an old 35mm and had the film turned into slides, he also used binoculars to take pics of wildlife.

yeah, it is an awesome thing, the magnifaction of objects and the fact that you can take a picture of it w/o really doing much, i was thinking that i could try and take pictures on mars, and jupitar (spelling?) at the end of the month, when they are really close to each other.
