Hi, hey how big of an aquarium do you need to keep one of these fish? I hear they can get 12". Would really like to have one, not sure I have room for one.

Most reccomend a 75 gallon.

ok thanks, I will have to wait then. I don't know if I will ever get my hands on a 75gal that I can afford. But, you never know.....

75 is the minimum...they are most comfortable in 90+ gallons. It's easier to manage since they're big waste producers.

Hey, got a lead on a 90gal and a 125gal. Waiting to hear what the guy wants for them. Keep your fingers crossed for me......

I finally got some flowerhorns. I got 10 fry. I figure if they all make it, I can pick the one I like the best and sell the rest of them. I got them off of aquabid. I was please with the whole thing except the guy didn't put in heat packs. So, they were kind of cold when I got them. But, they seem to be doing fine. There in a 10gal right now. The big tank should be cycled in plenty of time for them. I hear they are slow growers.

i know it's been awhile since you posted this but, you happen to have any pics of the little ones?
