Title: Strange tailfin damage?
Description: plz help...

Ok guys I've noticed my old Rostratus female has what looks like the tail has been bitten away, it was ok for a while and i've been using malafix but then it gets a little worse...I have one pleco (only 1.5 - 2" long though) and thought that might be the culprit but could this be fin rot? if so will my other fish get it too as shes had it for at least 7 months and it will get better then come back...my only other thought is the rostratus male obsesses over her, could he be doing this damage?

Add aquarium/kosher salt. What are all the other inhabitants so I can give you an amount?
