Title: UPGRADING TOA LATGER TANK

I currently have 3 29 gallon freshwater tanks running. I want to upgrade to a larger tank. Everything I have is on the second floor of my home. I want to upgrade 10 a 120 gallon aquarium. I would like to combine all the tanks together. I know the weight of water in the tank will be 1000 pounds and the gravel/substrate will most likely be 10 pounds per gallon. It basically comes down to 1 TON. 2000 pounds. I need to upgrade and it's the only room in the house I would be able to do this. A 120 gallon would be perfect but the weight I am questioning.....

Hire a contractor and ask him to look at your floor joints and where the best place to set it would be. Better to spend some money on a guy saying "yes, it's okay," than doing it yourself and finding out in 6 months or a year that the aquarium now resides on the first floor.
