What are your secrets of making a great planted tank. what type of lighting do you use, what size of bulbs, fluro, or, incodesent, what type of ferts do you use, or, what kind of CO2 system do you have, or, not have, tell us why.


I think it a good idea to have a setup list, with;

CO2 Y/N
Ferts(list what you use)
plant list
lighting (brand, length of bulbs, the wattage, and the LUX of the bulb as well at what the size of bulb T5-T8-T10 ect.)
Fish
Substrate

full tank shot would be nice as well. :)

fish: lots of endlers, cories and american flag fish.
Lighting is 2 shoplights, with 2 40 watt bulbs each
Substrate is play sand
