Does anyone here have experience in growing these out? Does it really take like 2 years or so before they reach sexual maturity? If so, i guess im just spoiled by my cichlids.

I have 1-1-1/2" petricolas. what would be the best things to feed at this size? is crushed flake good enough? Is it a good idea to give them some spirulina as well? what about NLS growth? when they get larger are blood worms ok for them?

I've no idea how long it takes for them to reach maturity. The pair I used to have spawned regularly and were around the 4 inch mark. Food wise they ate whatever the frontosas got, which included flake, pellets, chopped prawn, whitebait and cockles.
