hey guys thought i would see who is keeping these interesting little terrors.
i picked up a still formally unidentified(to me anyway) pike from my lfs and he/she is very interesting to say the least. please share your personal experiences with these wonderful fish.:)
well i think i have finally figured out which type of pike i have, with the help of some great people i have met on the net. i believe the pike i have is Crenichla sp. "Venezuela". i suppose i will be able to positively identify this guy once he is full grown but most of the juvie and sub-adult pics i have run across seem (to me anyways) to indicate that it's a "Venezuela".
I wanted to buy a few for my 75 gallon. they seem to be pretty cool fish. glad you're having some luck with them. :)
pikes are really cool fish. just do your research first bud.:) there are a few dwarf species out there to consider.
