Title: How often and what to feed angels
Description: Angel and new friends in 55g

Hi-
Angel's (golden) in her new tank. I've added a veil tail quarry angel, five jumbo danios and a pair of waterfall shrimp. Angel was raised to be fed only once a day, but new tank mates seem anxious to be fed more often, coming to top whenever we walk past. I'm feeding them Tetramin crisps. The chart says 1 crisp for each inch of fish 2-3 times a day. Is this too much? :huh?: Should I try to add a few Endlers (if I can find them) so they have live food? Angel's picking on the veil tail a little, but I've seen no sign of damage and both look very good. Do I need to add a live plant or two. the light is strictly artificial in the tank, it's in the basement, so it gets very little natural light. Do I need special shrimp food?
as always thanks-
Cyndi

if you want to try live food for your angel you can get brine shrimp, blood worms, blackworms, and the like. 2 times a day would be a good schedule for the primary food with a snack of sorts a couple times a week.
