That all depends on where you are in the hobby and what you want to keep.

As D says, it depends on what you want to keep, and how big the tank you want to start with is (personally go as big as space and/or money allows) then think what you want to keep!

Once you decide what your gonna get, then look into setting the tank up with the decor and hardware you need.
