Title: 1 1/2 gallon tank
Description: so now what do i do with it?

a friend of mine was givin a small terrium wqhich had a few plants (mostly amphibious plants like bamboo) she wanted to put them in actual pots because her cats kept playing with them, i traded one of my decorative pots for it....its larger then most 1 gallon tanks i've seen so i estimate it at 1 1/2 gallont o 2 gallons. its just a little glass box mostly, with no top.
Any ideas for what i can do with it? its to small for hermit crabs, and i prefure to keep bettas in tanks....i like to use what i have but i will supliment with things i can buy from the lfs if i have to.
i have a small world filter that need cartrages changed, and 2 disposable small world filters not in use. they are small, but still kick up a lot of water
id prefure not using a heater, which limits my options, i do have a small heater, but it may prove to be to large still for this little tank
what are ya'lls ideas?

Maybe you could use it to start plants in. I have found that Philodendrian produces a mass of roots that fish like to play and hide in, maybe add a few shrimp and snails.
What are the dimentions of the tank?

*edit* would that be enough filtration you think from the plants for a couple of white clouds and some shrimp?

The small world filter should be fine, if you are worried about not having enough bio filtration you can add a DIY sponge filter.
I do not know what White Cloud's space requirements are but it sounds like an acceptable bio load.

Well if heatings out of the equation, try some water hyacinth if its an open top style aquarium with some little White Cloud Mountain Minnows!
failing that some of the dwarf snakeheads are from colder regions that have run offs from the himalayas, so for an intersting little tank with a nifty predator (thats pretty) try one of them?

i bought a nano filter today for it, ive got it seeded and fed, I think I'm gonna get some java moss or moss balls and plant a pothos in it, right now im moving my betta in there and when i have some hiding spaces i'm gonna put some short finned white clouds in there too. Its so pretty my little tank.
I need a camera
