Title: Which Tetra Is This?
Description: Can't seem to figure it out.

Denney - February 24, 2007 01:00 PM (GMT)
I picked this fellow up from the LFS today. He was in a tank with a whole bunch of Long-fin Pristella Tetras.

I noticed him because of the red fins and the strange black top fin and white tipped bottom fin (can't remember the names of fins at the moment).

Sorry about the photos, hard to get this bugger to stay visible for a decent amount of time.

Basically, he is a silverish bodied fish with a black tipped top fin, red bottom fins with white tips and red spots on the rear fins (I need to learn my fins better).

Anyone have an idea?

It sounds like it could be a Congo, but I may be wrong, I'm not real familliar with tetras except neon's (world's stupidest fish:laugh:).

Doesn't look like a congo from the pics. Maybe a columbian tetra?

Looking around on the net and the Columbian Tetra seems to be it. The best photo I've seen is this one:

The only thing I can't find is any photos or information on if they have white and black tips on their fins.

Thanks for the help though guys.
