The more i resach these fish the more i dont want them (just kidding).
I hope i am not in the wrong forum because the more i think about it it aint a 911 sorry.
I do not have a tank yet i am just resaching for the near future.

In central american cichlids how much does the change in pH effect them, what should they be, and how do i change them.(someone told me not to ness with the pH to much it just sends the tank out of wack)

Plus i know they like harder water how do i change my water type.

when it comes to cycaling your tank, witch is better a few fish to start the cycle or add ammonia with out fish.

I just need to know how big of an effect these have on the cichlids i want.(jack dempsy, green terror, convicts) If any one can help me i would appreciate it thanks.... :spam:my favorite fake meat....

i would try and shop at some local fish stores close to you. chances are they have the same water chemistry as you do. their stock has already been acclimated to the water. the main thing you want to do is maintain a stable ph, and not worry so much about getting the "perfect" ph going. as far as cycling the easiest way is to jump start it with some media from and established tank. sometimes the LFS will help you out with this.
