Im not that odd at the minute went and bought 3 xray tetras and 3 red platys. Maybe someone can recommend i nice fish that would go well in a 120 litre community tank that is quite unusual.
Oddball - March 19, 2007 03:15 PM (GMT)
LMAO! this is what i like to see XD
look into getting a peacock eel (Mastacembelus siamensis) they are deffinitely odd and shouldnt harm anything bar blood worms!

since when am i an encyclopedia dot? i have too many spelling errors for a start :P

Just because the spelling isn't perfect doesn't mean that the information you hand out isn't good, and you seem to have a lot of info to share, and I think I can speak for most of us when I say that we all appreciate your wealth of info and willingness to share it! :thanks:

To be honest im quite lucky as their are some very good stores that are about 1-2 hours journey from me, and they have a huge selection to choose from.
But the biggy, and it is my recommendation, is get to know your local store, have a chat and if theres something you really want, ask them and see if they can order it in! Most of my animals were ordered specially for me, like my hystrix ray, dwarf snakeheads and adonis pleco!
If you get a reputation, they end up phoning you to tell you what they have on their lists

I think thats what ill have to do. I live in a small town and there is one pet shop who have quite a small collection of fish but very friendly staff so ill ask them when im next in to see if they will order any for me.
Thanks for the advise as well.

just thought on this, (and it will make dot laugh) dont order BIG semi adult catfish, they tend to send you the moneys worth in babies if they run out of stock >.<
