think it'll be 'ok' if i keep that many fish in the 10 gallon, or, should i move them around?

Congrats on the fry!

They should be fine for a while in the 10. :kewl:

ok, so i'm keeping the fry in the 10 gallon until they get large enough to stat in my pond, and keep the best looking ones in the aquarium.

How are they doing Tyler?

Any signs of color yet?

Have the others dropped yet?

FBG - March 24, 2007 05:52 PM (GMT)
well, kind of....some of them are a little darker than others, but no real color, maybe in a week or so. i think i have lost at the most 3 in the past week or so.

i have been feeding the parents Hikari's freeze dried blood worms, and the ghost shrimp i have in the aquarium, have been swimming to the top of the aquarium and grabbing blood worms and eating them, is that normal???

FBG - March 24, 2007 05:58 PM (GMT)
oh, and no the others haven't dropped yet, it should be very soon, they are getting very large!

the guppy fry are on a diet of Hikari's 'First Bites', and they are the first batch of fry that actually will eat. my zebra danios in my 40 gallon have produced fry many many times, and i can't ever get them to eat, and they end up dieing.
but the guppies are even trying to eat the blood worms i am feeding the parents
kind of weird.

my first time the guppies have actually lived I've tried 5 times :drunk: :D
