HI GUYS .............just need a bit of advice i am thinking of getting rid of the gravel in my tank and replacing it with sand as i sat and watched my kuhli loaches last nite trying to dig down in the gravel just wanted some advice on my other fish and would they be ok to go with the change i have at the mo 4 guppies , 2male swords and 3 females, 2 harlequin tetras, 2black widow tetras, 2 dalmation mollies, 3kuhli loaches, a pleco, red tail shark and a silver shark with thanks :bye:
i think that it would be fine, i have sand in every aquarium i have.
i have 3 community aquariums, and one semi-aggressive, and they all are doing great, the newest one is 4 months old, and no problems with the fish, and the plants love it.
Go for it, just be sure to thoroughly rinse the sand. The Kuhli's will love you for it!
You don't have a UGF do you? If you do you will not want to use it with sand.
cheers for the advice and no dot have not got ugf so it should be fine then
