Hi everyone
been a while
ok

Tank size - 75g
occupants - 4 rosy barbs, 5 black tetras, 1 clown loach, 2 CAE, 1 cory cat
Filtration system: regular hang the tank filter
Ph: 6.5ish
Nitrate - 0
Nitrite - 0
Ammonia - 0
Have you added any plants, fish or decorations in the last 2 months? No
What is your water change schedule and procedure? Changed entire 75g tank water since my dojo loach got body fungus and died. I put all the fish in a 10g bare hospital tank and treated with maracyn, maroxy and melafix. The hospital tank was set up with water from the 75g and it had a filter without the carbon in it. Plenty of aeration and very little food was given to keep the tank clean.
Have there been ANY chemicals used in the room or house if you have central air, this includes everything from glass cleaner to air freshener. No

Ok. I have 4 rosy barbs that I have had for about 5 years now. They are about 2 inches long. They all feed and swim around and none of them scratch themselves or sit on the bottom or anything. One of my rosy barbs has really crooked looking fins behind the gill and his tail is kind not opened like a fan but is kind of retracted if you will. Compared to the other male, he is the same size. There is only a single tiny split in the fin. I cant see any whitishness or rot on the fish. Also I am almost totally sure there is nothing red on his fins either but he is very redish so I might be mistaken. Today I put all my fish back in the big tank after checking everything. I added some benificial bacteria so that there wouldnt be a huge amonia and N spikes. All the fish look happy and eat and everything but im really worried about my barb. Anyone know what could be causing the kind of retracted and crookedness of the fins?
